Jesus never mentions going to Church. Over and over again he instead uses the metaphor of the coming kingdom. We looked yesterday briefly at Luke 11:20, where Jesus indicates that the kingdom may have erupted already.Next week we will look at the song of Mary from the end of the first chapter of Luke. Often called the Magnificat, I believe it has some things to teach us about the meaning of the kingdom.
