Johnny....or JP as people call you ....you will always be my special artsy/far...sy (add the last letter.....lol) nephew Jonathan who I love as much as Benjamin and your Mom and Dad.

I was able to to go to Ryan's Google site although I typically stick to Yahoo. But I did a google....and signed up with a nick name davetree aka uncle dave as i laugh.

Ryan, thank you for the blog site....i never did the blog thing before....

I am so glad you guys are having fun and johnny you are taking a "road trip" that you will always remember.

If I was younger, i would have cherished going with you....I have never traveled that much.

The only couple of times I remember driving 24 hrs non stop was in a caravan of high school buds headed to Port Isabel for surfing and messing around (I failed and couldn't get the knack of it and hurt myself a bit on a board) so resorted to just hanging out, the other was a trip on a whirlwind 3 or 4 day trip to Quray, Colorado. When I got back to the top of Texas....I thought I was home...but it was another 10-12 hours to get to Ft. Worth.

Thought I was out of my mind at the time and just wanted sleep.

You guys enjoy the journey and cherish and soak in all that you see and do. Do as much as you can in the time you have.

I will check in in a day or two to see at what location you are now.

Again Ryan, thank you for the site, and Johnny, love ya.

Hello Uncle Dave! I do appreciate very much that you have been keeping track of our progress. The trip has been amazing for obvious reasons, but I will also be relieved and comforted to get back home when we do.

I shall try to give you a call within the next couple days when I have a good phone signal. I miss everyone and just hope that you are doing well! I haven't heard anything about Grandmommy and how her treatment has been going the past couple days, but I do suppose the lack of news is encouraging.

We are in Twin Falls, Idaho tonight and will be leaving for Yellowstone in the morning. Take care Uncle Dave. Love you.
